YOU CAN HELP US HELP KIDS!

The Children’s Treatment Centre of Chatham-Kent is a recognized provider of paediatric rehabilitation services. The Centre has a funding partnership with the Government of Ontario, most notably the Ministry of Children and Youth Services. However, the funding provided does not cover all needs and therefore the Centre must generate about 10% of their annual costs through fundraising. So, your donations are vitally important to support ongoing operations. This is where the Foundation comes in.

There are many ways in which you can help. And every donation counts!

One-Time Gift

With cash donations, you have the immediate satisfaction of seeing your gift assisting our children. This is the simplest way to give and you receive a tax receipt for the full amount. Simply download and fill out the attached donation instruction form and mail or deliver, along with your cheque payable to:

Your online donation will be processed by CanadaHelps.org, not us, and your credit card statement will reflect that. For providing this service, CanadaHelps.org, itself a registered Canadian charity, assesses a modest transaction fee of 3% on each donation before disbursing it to us. All information, personal and financial, is securely protected by CanadaHelps.org.  CanadaHelps.org will promptly forward a charitable receipt electronically to you.

Recurring Gift

You can show your support of children in our community by making a pre-arranged gift monthly, quarterly or annually. Simply provide us with a VOID cheque or your credit card information and the amount you specify will be automatically deducted from your bank account or billed to your credit card at the end of each month, quarter or year. At the end of the year, you will receive a tax receipt for the full amount donated over the course of that year. In Memoriam or Special Occasion Gift

A gift “in memory of” a family member, friend, colleague or loved one is a meaningful way to express your sympathy. A gift “in honour of” can be made to recognize a special occasion (birthday, anniversary, guest speaker, etc.). These gifts can be made direct to the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent using the donation instruction form or by clicking on the CanadaHelps button. A tax receipt will be issued for the full amount to you and an acknowledgement letter will be sent to the next-of-kin or to the honoree notifying them that the gift has been made.

Donor Choice through the United Way of Chatham-Kent

Each year, our local United Way mounts their annual fundraising campaign. Through their Donor Choice program, it is possible to designate a percentage of your United Way gift to other registered charities in the community. Consider the Children’s Treatment Centre Foundation of Chatham-Kent as one of your designated recipients. Please keep in mind that the United Way will charge a processing fee to administer the gift.
